Sunny has been working in the tech industry (from cyber security to a global, multinational company in consumer electronics, computer software, and online services) for many years and has held various global roles. Her true passion for animals, the environment and the protection of abused women and children has led her to set up a non-profit organization. She has been an animal advocate since she was a child and has rescued many animals, from cats and dogs, all the way to chameleons, birds, bats, and rabbits. Sunny’s main focus is looking out for sick and elderly animals, whose adoption chances are low. Sunny has supported various shelters and organizations, and is passionate about wildlife support. She has also supported various projects in South Africa for street children and abused women. Sunny is a vegan with a strong focus on the environment, as she believes it is all interdependent of each other.

Hardy Rusch
Co-Founder
Hardy is a freelance software developer who has worked at global tech companies for many years. However, his passion is around creating change for the environment and animals, with a strong focus on animal rescue. He has supported many complicated animal rescues, especially those related to feral and injured animals. Hardy has been a vegan and animal and environment advocate for many years. He has extensive expertise with animals that have disabilities and is passionate about giving them a chance and the love they deserve.

Linda Nealon
Linda has always been passionate about animals and has worked with a number of non-profit animal protection organizations to alleviate suffering and raise funds. She traveled to rescue animals after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans and later traveled to Beirut, Lebanon during the war in 2006 to rescue dogs that were dumped or injured due to the war. She was named ABC's Person of the Week for her efforts in Lebanon. Linda produces music festivals and late night entertainment for private music cruises. Her expertise for animals in crisis will support many projects in different countries. She is vegan and has a dog named Roma that she adopted as a senior. She feels deeply about adopting senior dogs from animal shelters since they are heartbroken when they lose their families in their golden years.

John Barlow Jarvis
John Jarvis is a two-time grammy winning composer and instrumentalist. He began his career in his teens as a studio pianist for Motown Records, and at age 20, he became a member of the Rod Stewart Band, performing and recording classics such as “Tonight’s the Night” and “Hot Legs.”
He has also toured with James Taylor and Art Garfunkel and has played piano on recordings by Ringo Starr, Kenny Rogers, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Cher, Dolly Parton, Burt Bacharach, James Last, Roger Whitaker and many others. John is a lifelong animal lover and vegan.

Petra has years of experience in private investment, where she ran portfolio management and macro research. Her true passion, however, has always been creating change for scared and abused animals, especially for dogs. Petra is the founder of a dog training school for scared dogs. Her training focuses on trust, patience and a good understanding of your pet. Petra offers her expertise when it comes to abused animals and how to help them regain trust in a human. Petra is passionate about animals and the environment and has been a vegetarian for many years.

Marius Nel
Marius is a huge animal lover and an advocate for inclusion and diversity. Marius has a business degree and served many years in theSouth Africa Police Service (SAPS) holding the rank of Colonel and working at their Head Office. He got his first pet at the age of four and his love for animals started growing from there. Realizing each animal has it's own unique personality and the unconditional love they give us as human beings. He is a activist against keeping animals in captivity. He is a huge advocate to adopt a pet rather than buying one from a breeder. He also believes that using renewable energy sources is the best way to safe what is left of the ozone layer. Marius is a vegetarian /almost vegan.

Anke is an Associate Professor with a Ph.D. from Stellenbosch University. Beyond her academic pursuits, she harbors a deep love and passion for animals. Growing up surrounded by a menagerie of pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, and various birds, she developed a strong empathy towards all living creatures. Her commitment to animal welfare reflects her understanding of the interconnectedness of nature and the importance of every species in the ecosystem. Anke now shares her life with miniature horses, chickens, and dogs. She is a firm believer that dogs reveal their true character only when they are treated as part of the family.

Dafne Ettinger
Dafne has an MBA in Business Economics and has been working in the tech industry (mainly in cyber security) but also in movie theatre companies. She has extensive experience in business operations in Latin America. Dafne has always wanted to ensure change is created for animals as well as the environment and therefore volunteered a year at a non-profit organization focussing on poverty in Brazil. Dafne's true passion are the animals and the environment and her focus is to find long term solutions especially in Latin America.
